200 Foreign Service Stations Stand With Iran

A senior Iranian official says some 200 foreign service stations , known as Mawkibs, were set up in streets and squares across various Iranian provinces to express solidarity with the resilient Iranian nation during the latest imposed conflict, with 120 of them arriving from Iraq.

Hojatoleslam Ahmadi, head of the Arbaeen Cultural and Educational Committee, made the remarks at a coordination and planning council meeting of the Arbaeen Cultural Headquarters of Iran and Iraq, held at the office of the Leader’s representative for Hajj and pilgrimage affairs in Tehran. The meeting was convened to review policies, approaches and general programs for Arbaeen 2026.

Addressing the gathering, which was also attended by cultural officials from various Arbaeen headquarters, Ahmadi highlighted the presence of Iraqi Mowkib organizers in Iran during the Ramadan War. “Approximately 200 foreign Mawkibs were present in the streets and squares of different provinces to express solidarity with the steadfast Iranian nation,” he said, noting that “120 Mawkibs were from Iraq.”

Hojatoleslam Abazari, cultural attaché of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Iraq, also addressed the meeting, pointing to the solidarity and support extended by the Iraqi nation during the third imposed war. He stated that the forthcoming Arbaeen would be an entirely different occasion, stressing that all efforts must be mobilized to draw maximum benefit from this immense cultural movement.

Participants further voiced their views on Arbaeen programs, and the gathering concluded with a discussion on the slogan for Arbaeen 2026.
