Pakistani scholars renew allegiance to Leader of Islamic Revolution in major Karachi gathering

In a powerful display of unity and revolutionary commitment, a major gathering of Pakistani scholars, religious personalities, and representatives of various schools of thought has renewed their allegiance to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

the event titled “The Role of Leadership in the Revival of Islam” was organized by Pakistan’s Council of Imams of Mosques and Twelver Shia scholars at the Husayniyya of the Martyrs of Karbala in Karachi.

The ceremony witnessed a broad and enthusiastic presence of scholars, social figures, and representatives from different Islamic schools of thought, all expressing their unwavering support for Iran’s Supreme Leader and their determination to walk the path of the martyrs.

Cross-denominational and interfaith support

In a striking sign of interfaith solidarity, Waqqas Michael, a Christian leader in Pakistan, addressed the gathering, stating: “In the current state of the world, raising one’s voice against oppression is a shared responsibility of all human beings. The way and method of the martyred Leader are a clear example of coexistence and harmony between religions.”

Mufti Nazar-ul-Haq Thanvi, a prominent Ahl al-Hadith scholar from Pakistan, emphasized: “To confront the challenges facing the Islamic Ummah, unity and strong leadership are essential. The sacrifices of the martyrs teach us the lesson of steadfastness.”

Hojatoleslam Ghulam Abbas Ra’isi, a leading Pakistani scholar, noted: “In the Islamic Awakening and the revival of Islam, the role of leadership is fundamental. The thoughts of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution continue to be a source of guidance for the Ummah.”

Hojatoleslam Naqi Hashemi, a Pakistani preacher, declared: “The path of the martyrs is the path of truth and justice. Only by treading this path can the Ummah regain its lost glory.”

Hojatoleslam Baqir Abbas Zaidi, a senior member of Pakistan’s Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, said: “In the current circumstances, the need for intellectual and practical leadership is felt more than ever. The younger generation must be acquainted with this thinking.”

Mufti Mukarram Qadri, a leader of the Minhaj-ul-Quran organization in Sindh, Pakistan, stressed: “For the revival of Islam, all schools of thought must move forward with unity and empathy, setting aside their differences.”

Dr. Miraj-ul-Huda Siddiqui, a senior member of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, stated: “The success of the Islamic Ummah depends on strong leadership, unity, and adherence to principles.”

Dr. Talebiniya, director of the Karachi Cultural House in Pakistan, added: “The victory of the Islamic Revolution and its continuation are the result of intellectual awakening and awareness among the people. This process must be strengthened.”

Revolutionary spirit and tribute to martyrs

The ceremony also featured a performance by the revolutionary group Sobh-e-Zuhoor, which performed stirring anthems that were warmly received by the audience.

In a particularly moving gesture, the families of recent martyrs from Pakistan were given a special place of honor at the event. Scholars stood to welcome them—a clear sign of deep respect and devotion to the status of the martyrs.

Renewed allegiance to the Leader

The highlight of the gathering was the collective renewal of allegiance to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and a solemn tribute to the martyred Leader. Participants reaffirmed that the path of resistance, unity, and leadership is the only way forward for the Islamic Ummah to reclaim its dignity and power.

The Karachi declaration, analysts say, sends a clear message to the enemies of Islam: the axis of resistance is not confined to West Asia—it extends to the heart of South Asia, where scholars and people alike stand united under the banner of the Leader.
