“José Manuel Albarez Bueno”, the Foreign Minister of Spain, has announced the request of his country, along with the countries of Slovenia and Ireland, to suspend cooperation with the Zionist regime.
Referring to Israel’s aggression against Lebanese territory, the Spanish official stated that “Lebanon is witnessing an aggression that violates international law and has driven the residents of the south from their lands”.
He further emphasized that we must tell Israel that it must change its approach and emphasize to it that “war is not the way to communicate with its neighbors”.
Bueno also described the current situation in West Asia as “the biggest crisis in the region since the Gulf War” and emphasized that “we are facing a very serious situation in the Middle East (West Asia) and the Persian Gulf”.
The Irish Foreign Minister, in approving this request, condemned Israel’s aggression against Lebanon and emphasized the request to suspend cooperation with Israel.
The Zionist regime has recently killed hundreds of Lebanese residents and injured many more with its attacks on the civilian population.
Iran’s intensive consultations and the request for a ceasefire on all fronts of the war, including Lebanon, ultimately led to a 10-day ceasefire; a ceasefire that was very fragile and was violated several times by Israel during this period.
