In Morocco, thousands of protesters marched in the capital, Rabat, in a solidarity demonstration that began at Bab El-Had and headed toward the parliament, raising slogans condemning violations by the Zionist occupation inside prisons and calling for the repeal of the law and support for prisoners.
In Australia, the city of Melbourne witnessed a large-scale protest, with demonstrators carrying pro-Palestinian banners and demanding international action to secure the release of prisoners and abolish the death penalty law.
Activists stated that events marking Palestinian Prisoners’ Day in Australia will continue for a week, aiming to shed light on the inhumane conditions endured by prisoners, including torture and abuses inside detention facilities.
In Tunisia, a solidarity march took place on Saturday in support of the Gaza Strip and in rejection of continued violations by the Zionist occupation of the ceasefire agreement, alongside calls for the release of Palestinian prisoners and condemnation of the death penalty law.
More than 9,600 Palestinian prisoners, including children and women, remain held in Zionist occupation prisons, where they face torture, starvation, and medical neglect, leading to the martyrdom of dozens.
Violations against prisoners have escalated in parallel with the genocide carried out by the Zionist occupation in the Gaza Strip, with U.S. support, since October 7, 2023, resulting in the fall of thousands of Palestinian martyrs.
