The director of the Islamic Center for Strategic Studies affiliated with the Al-Abbas’s (p) Holy Shrine in Lebanon, and one of the organizers of the relief campaign, Sheikh Hassan Ahmed Al-Hadi, said: “The Holy Shrine has been keen to deliver financial support to a wide segment of the displaced and steadfast people in various areas, including the cities of Tire, Ghazieh, Nabatieh, and Haboush, as well as Zahle, the Baalbek and Hermel regions, the Chouf region, and the surrounding villages, in cooperation with local entities and religious figures”.
He added that these initiatives come within the framework of alleviating the living burdens faced by affected families, especially in light of the difficult economic and humanitarian conditions the country is going through.
Al-Hadi pointed out that the efforts of the Al-Abbas’s (p) Holy Shrine were not limited to providing financial support, but also included conducting field visits by a delegation from the shrine, which covered several displacement centers in the areas of (Janna, Ain al-Ghuwayba, Alamat, Amchit, Jbeil, and Kesrouan), in addition to the cities of Tripoli and Koura in northern Lebanon.
He explained that these tours aim to directly observe the conditions of the displaced, enhance communication with them, and identify their most pressing needs, which contributes to directing support more effectively.
The Al-Abbas’s (p) Holy Shrine, in response to the call of the supreme religious authority to aid the Iranian and Lebanese peoples in light of the current circumstances in the region, seeks to enhance its humanitarian efforts by providing food and essential assistance to affected families, thereby contributing to alleviating their suffering.
The holy shrine opened five outlets to receive donations inside and outside the courtyard of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).
