The delegation included several legal representatives of Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky, leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, as well as leading Shiite clerics and preachers active in religious outreach across the country.
Among the participants were Sheikh Yaqub Yahya Katsina, legal counsel to Sheikh Zakzaky in Katsina State, and Sheikh Khedr Abami, a noted Shiite missionary in Nigeria.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the latest developments concerning the Islamic Movement of Nigeria and explored ways to strengthen religious education and missionary cooperation between Iranian seminaries and Nigerian scholars.
