Women Can Be Spiritual and Practical Role Models

Hojatoleslam Sayyid Kamal Hosseini, representative of Al-Mustafa International University in India, underlined the significant role of women in the spiritual and moral advancement of society, stressing that they too can serve as inspiring role models for the Islamic Ummah.

 Speaking at a special ethics session at Zainabiyah School in Lucknow, attended by female students, he delivered a lecture on “Female Role Models in the Quran.” He emphasized that spiritual perfection is not exclusive to men, noting that women such as Hazrat Maryam (PBUH), Hazrat Asiya (PBUH), and Hazrat Fizza (PBUH) exemplify how women can attain high spiritual ranks and inspire generations.

Citing a narration about Hazrat Fizza (PBUH), the servant of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (PBUH), Hosseini explained that her reliance on Quranic verses even in ordinary interactions reflects the depth of women’s capacity for spiritual excellence.
