Qom – June 13, Following the deadly attack by the Zionist regime on Iranian soil, Grand Ayatollah Shobeiri Zanjani issued a statement strongly condemning the aggression and mourning the loss of innocent lives, senior military commanders, and esteemed scholars.
Quoting the Qur’anic verse, “Woe to those who wronged from the punishment of a painful day,” the statement read:
“The brutal attack by the criminal, usurper regime on the land of Islamic Iran, which led to the martyrdom of a number of honorable people, senior commanders, and esteemed scholars, is deeply tragic. It clearly reflects the vile and corrupt nature of the leaders of this doomed regime and the enemies of noble Islam.”
Ayat. Zanjani extended his heartfelt condolences to the Iranian nation, particularly the bereaved families of the martyrs, and prayed for God’s mercy on the departed and a swift recovery for the injured.
Marking the approach of Eid al-Ghadir, he concluded with a prayer:
“May God Almighty protect this land—honored by its loyalty to the Commander of the Faithful (PBUH) and his infallible descendants—from the evils of the wicked, the conspiracies of the enemies, and their sinister plots. May He grant victory and dignity to the Muslim Ummah.”
