“We watch the people in Gaza burning, being bombed, and dying of hunger while we sleep, go on with our lives as if nothing is happening, without any sense of human, moral, religious, or natural responsibility,” Al-Husseini said in an interview with Almasirah TV. “The people of Gaza are paying the price for Arab, Western immorality and depravity”.
She continued, “Today, we panic over a video of a little girl trying to survive the flames. These people (the Zionists) have surpassed all the limits of humanity, ethics that Allah has placed within us”.
She strongly criticized the narrative being promoted by some that the solution lies in the “two-state solution”, calling it a Western-Zionist conspiracy, asserting that the Zionist entity sees itself as superior to everyone else.
She pointed out that the first countries to sever ties with the Zionist entity and whose people took to the streets in the millions were mostly Western nations, stating: “They acted in response to the will of their people”.
She also expressed astonishment at the Arab silence and the lack of support marches for Gaza, except in Yemen, noting that instead of showing solidarity with Gaza, the Gulf countries offered billions of dollars to Trump, who used it to supply weapons and continuous support to the occupying entity to kill more children, women in Gaza.
She concluded that the people of the Maghreb region are ready to participate in breaking the siege on Gaza through a land convoy involving hundreds of activists and human rights defenders from Tunisia, Morocco, and Algeria.
Meanwhile, Omar Al-Hamed, a Jordanian professor of international law, affirmed that Yemen is the only country in the world that has upheld international law, human rights by supporting the oppressed Palestinian people in Gaza through armed resistance.
Al-Hamed called on the Arab, Islamic nations to take serious action to stop the Israeli aggression on Gaza.
He noted that after World War II, the UN was established to maintain international peace and security, but the historical sequence of events since its inception until now has proven the UN’s failure and complete inability to fulfill this mission.
He stated that the Israeli enemy is carrying out a campaign of genocide without any regard for what is called international law, adding that the leaders of the international community and the UN manipulate international laws and constitutions according to their own interests.
At least 53,939 Palestinians have been killed, mostly women and children, and another 122,797 individuals injured in the brutal Israeli military onslaught on Gaza since October 7, 2023.
The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants last November for Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former minister of military affairs Yoav Gallant, citing war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the besieged coastal territory.
