Three employees of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) were martyred during Monday’s Israeli airstrike on the organization’s central building.
Among the confirmed martyrs are Nima Rajabpour, a dedicated news editor, and Masoumeh Azimi, a staff member of the IRIB Secretariat. According to initial reports, Azimi lost her life due to the force of the blast wave from the explosion.
IRIB has confirmed that the total number of martyrs resulting from the strike has risen to three. However, as of this time, the identity of the third martyr has not been officially released.
The attack has drawn widespread condemnation, with tributes pouring in for the fallen media workers who remained steadfast in their duties amid the assault.
