Speaking at a coordination meeting in Iraq with missionaries from the Samawah and Diwaniyah routes, Kouhsari highlighted the importance of leveraging modern communication tools to share the message and culture of Arbaeen with the world.
The session aimed to strengthen synergy and improve the quality of religious outreach programs. Missionaries shared their experiences, constructive criticisms, and suggestions, which were reviewed to develop more effective strategies.
Hujjat al-Islam Kouhsari emphasized that the seminary must remain focused on its cultural mission while adopting media-driven methods to reach multilingual audiences, both along the pilgrimage route and globally.
“Despite the limited direct reach of processions, strengthening media coverage and overcoming the widespread media boycott are crucial steps in introducing this great walk to international audiences,” he said.
The meeting concluded with a ceremony honoring the efforts and dedication of missionaries serving along the Samawah and Diwaniyah routes.
