Speaking during an Ashura evening session organized by Fikrat Media at the Astan Quds Razavi center in Qom, Hojjat al-Islam Mohammad Hossein Malekzadeh highlighted the deep spiritual and political significance of siding with the truth, rooted in the tradition of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali (AS).
“Truth is one of the divine names of God. And the well-known saying of the Prophet (PBUH), ‘Ali is with the truth and the truth is with Ali,’ reminds us that recognizing and following the path of divine leadership is the only way to stand on the right side of history.”
Following the Path of Divine Truth
Malekzadeh stressed that truth, as referenced in the Holy Qur’an, carries multiple layers of meaning — from being a name of God, to representing Islam, justice, and objective reality.
“Absolute truth is from God. To be with the truth means to be aligned with God’s religion, His justice, and His representatives on earth.”
He noted that while in many civilizational and political conflicts it may be difficult to distinguish right from wrong, following divine guardianship provides clarity, even amid complex global events.
Iran’s Moral Authority Rising After Israel Conflict
Referring to recent regional developments, the seminary scholar stated:
“By God’s grace, the Islamic Republic’s position has strengthened, and the popularity of the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, has grown remarkably — not just in Iran, but across the Arab world and beyond.”
“Today, millions of free-thinking people around the world see the Islamic Revolution as a frontline force against Zionist aggression and global injustice.”
Malekzadeh emphasized that this growing alignment with the Islamic Republic reflects a collective awakening among oppressed nations, inspired by Iran’s unwavering stance against arrogance and occupation.
A Call for Global Support of Truth
In conclusion, he called on intellectuals, religious scholars, and nations to adopt a clear and principled stance in support of truth:
“Our national and global vision must mature. We must move forward with a realistic and courageous spirit to defend the truth, stand with the oppressed, and strengthen the global front against tyranny.”
