Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned Israel’s recent airstrikes against the Islamic Republic of Iran, denouncing the attacks as a blatant violation of Iran’s sovereignty and international law.
In a statement issued Friday, the Saudi government expressed its firm opposition to what it described as “terrorist aggression” by Israel. The statement emphasized that such actions not only infringe upon Iran’s territorial integrity but also undermine the principles of international law and regional stability.
“The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia strongly condemns and denounces the blatant Israeli attacks on the Islamic Republic of Iran, which constitute a clear violation of its sovereignty and security, and a breach of international laws and norms,” the statement read.
Saudi Arabia also called on the international community, particularly the United Nations Security Council, to take immediate action to halt the aggression and prevent further escalation.
“These heinous attacks must be stopped immediately. The international community and the UN Security Council bear a great responsibility to ensure accountability and uphold global peace and security,” the statement concluded.
