Hujjat al-Islam Abdul Majeed Hakimallahi, the new representative of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei in India, traveled to the city of Lucknow within the framework of his cultural and religious missions and met with the scholars and prominent religious figures of this city.
In the first part of his trip, the representative of the Supreme Leader in India met with Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Kalb Jawad Naqvi, Secretary General of the Indian Ulema Council, at his residence, and they exchanged views on religious, cultural and social issues related to the Shiite community in India.
Hujjat al-Islam Hakimallahi then attended the Friday prayers at the Asefi Jama Masjid in Lucknow and delivered a speech to the congregation, emphasizing the importance of ethics in Islamic teachings.
In part of his speech, he said, “A Muslim must have the highest level of ethics, since the Holy Prophet of Islam, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, who is a role model for all, is described in the Holy Quran as having great ethics.”
