Pakistan’s Agriculture Minister Visits Holy Shrine of Hazrat Fatima Masoumeh (PBUH)

Pakistan’s Minister of National Food Security and Research, Rana Tanveer Hussain, paid a visit to the holy shrine of Hazrat Fatima Masoumeh (PBUH) in the central Iranian city of Qom on Tuesday.

Heading a high-ranking delegation, the Pakistani minister recited prayers at the shrine and paid homage to the revered daughter of Imam Musa al-Kazim (PBUH). He also spent a few moments in reflection inside the holy compound.

The visit comes as part of Hussain’s official trip to Iran, during which he is scheduled to hold talks with Iranian officials on strengthening bilateral cooperation in the fields of agriculture, food security, and trade.

Iran and Pakistan, two neighboring Muslim countries, share deep historical, cultural, and religious ties. Visits to holy shrines in Iran by Pakistani officials and pilgrims are seen as an expression of the spiritual bonds between the two nations.
