Pakistani Premier Sharif visits Iranian Embassy to ‘honor martyrs’ of Israeli attacks

Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited the Iranian Embassy in Islamabad on Tuesday to “honor martyrs” and injured Iranians during a recent conflict with Israel, Radio Pakistan reported.

Sharif “expressed his deepest condolences to the people and Government of Iran, while reaffirming Pakistan’s sympathy and solidarity with Iran during this difficult time”.

The Pakistani prime minister paid “rich tributes to the resilience and courage of the Iranian nation, while offering prayers for those who had embraced martyrdom”, and he also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.

He reaffirmed Pakistan’s “consistent and continued” support for Iran, and extended good wishes and respects to Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatullah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and President Massoud Pezeshkian.
