Pakistan Muslim Unity Council, once again voiced its firm support for the oppressed people of Palestine by holding a grand conference titled “Palestine, Karbala of the Time”. Prominent political, religious and media figures from different religions were present at the ceremony, and the unity and solidarity of the Islamic Ummah in defending the people of Palestine was emphasized.
Defending Palestine is a religious, moral and human duty
Senator Raja Nasser Abbas Jafari, Chairman of Pakistan Muslim Unity Council, stated in his speech that supporting the oppressed people of Palestine is a religious, moral and human duty.
He further noted, “The enemies are conspiring to extinguish the flame of resistance, but we have a duty to keep this flame alive and strengthen it, since God has promised to help those who help His religion.”
Referring to the message of Ashura, Senator Raja Nasser Abbas added, “Yesterday’s Yazid was defeated and today’s Yazid is also doomed to be defeated. Persistence on principles is the secret to true victory. Just as the women of the Ahl al-Bayt courageously conveyed the message of truth to the world after the Karbala incident, today we need the same level of sacrifice and courage.”

At the end of the ceremony, Fakhr Abbas, the head of Imamiya Students Organization, praised the martyrs of the resistance, adding,” The US, which has always uphold claims as a defender of human rights, has shown its true nature today by remaining silent in the face of the crimes in Gaza. If anyone can be considered a true defender of humanity today, that person is undoubtedly the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei. We proudly salute all the martyrs of the resistance.”
