Hujjat al-Islam Arif Hussain Wahidi, Vice President of Pakistan Shia Ulema Council, attended and delivered a speech at the annual Hajj conference organized by Pakistan Ulema Council in Islamabad, Pakistan.
In his speech on the topic of “Philosophy and Greatness of Hajj”, he described Hajj as a symbol of unity of the Islamic Ummah all over the world and emphasized the importance of utilizing this great opportunity to strengthen Muslim unity.
Referring to some of the problems and challenges faced by pilgrims, Hujjat al-Islam Arif Wahidi called for special attention from the authorities to solve these issues and emphasized the need to provide better conditions for the welfare and comfort of pilgrims.
He called for more serious consideration of the problems of Pakistani pilgrims.
It is worth noting that Pakistan’s Minister of Religious Affairs, Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, the Deputy Ambassador of Saudi Arabia, Pir Naqib al-Rehman, and a number of prominent religious and political figures also spoke at the ceremony.
