Referring to the recent battle of “Awli al-Bas” between Hezbollah and the Israeli regime, Sheikh Naeem Qassem, Secretary General of Hezbollah in Lebanon, stated: Hezbollah fighters fought against 75,000 armed Zionist soldiers to the teeth, and God granted us victory.
The Secretary General of Hezbollah continued: With the slogan “We are true to our promise,” we showed that, like the martyr Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah and other martyrs, we have chosen a life of honor and will continue their path.
Sheikh Naim Qassem emphasized the need to increase faith and belief in times of hardship and siege, and stated: We must believe that God is our helper and that calamities are a test from Him; patience is the key to victory.
Referring to Hezbollah’s support for the people of Gaza and Palestine, he said: This support was a moral and political duty that we carried out out of responsibility.
The Hezbollah Secretary General continued by addressing the issue of the ceasefire and noted: The ceasefire agreement is a new stage, the title of which will be “state responsibility”. We resisted until the moment of the ceasefire and inflicted painful blows on the enemy.
Criticizing the continued aggression of the Zionist regime despite the ceasefire agreement, he emphasized: Do wise people abandon their power factors while the enemy continues its aggression?
Condemning the recent Zionist aggressions against the Nabatiyeh region and the pressure on the Lebanese people and economic activists, Sheikh Naim Qassem called for the government to play a serious role and warned: “Do not imagine that we will remain silent forever in the face of these aggressions; we are a group that will never submit to humiliation”.
He emphasized once again: “Hezbollah has the ability to confront Israel and defeat it, and any weakness on the part of the other side allows the Zionist regime to expand”.
In conclusion, the Secretary General of Hezbollah, while offering condolences to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, the Iranian nation, the army and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps for the martyrdom of a group of Iranian soldiers and citizens, mentioned martyr Mohammad Saeed Izadi (Hajj Ramadan) and said: “This noble martyr lived among us and was a symbol of giving and sacrifice; he left his homeland to address the Palestinian issue and work towards it”.
