The Ministry of Islamic Affairs and Original Education launched on Sunday in Nouakchott an initiative that aims to contribute to the service and glorification of the Book of Allah through a project that seeks to enhance its status in the minds of the rising generations.
The project focuses on combining the authenticity of the Mahdhara with the spirit of modernity, with the aim of immunizing youth with the Holy Quran and consolidating its noble values that call for fraternity and solidarity, away from conflict and backwardness.
During the launch ceremony, the Director of Islamic Guidance, Mr. Mohamed Lamine Ould Cheikhna, expressed his appreciation for this work, which comes within the framework of serving the Holy Quran, and thanked the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh Ghazouani, for his directives, which reflect the government’s growing interest in Mauritanians and the Islamic sciences in general.
