Liaqat Baloch Praises Iran’s Islamic Government, Calls for Muslim Unity Against U.S.-Israeli Oppression

Deputy Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, Liaqat Baloch, has praised the Islamic Republic of Iran for its “successful and principled performance,” highlighting it as a model of strength rooted in firm ideological foundations.

In a recent speech, Baloch emphasized the urgent need for Muslim unity and solidarity in the face of increasing oppression by the United States and Israel.

Baloch condemned the ongoing violence against Palestinians, denouncing Israel’s aggression and America’s unwavering support for the Zionist regime. “The martyrdom of more than 60,000 people in Gaza is not just a tragedy—it has awakened and united the Islamic Ummah,” he stated. He warned that the growing influence of the Zionist lobby, especially in U.S. foreign policy, poses a grave threat to the Middle East and the future of the Islamic world.

Referring to the collapse of unity during the Cold War, Baloch said the Islamic Republic of Iran has demonstrated that a strong ideological foundation and consistent resistance can ensure political and strategic success. “Iran’s performance proves that belief in a divine and revolutionary path guarantees resilience and dignity,” he added.

He also strongly condemned recent atrocities in Baluchistan, including the targeted killing of bus passengers, describing them as acts of “brutal oppression and barbarity” that must be urgently addressed.

On the broader regional level, Baloch criticized moves to eliminate the Palestinian cause and dismantle the two-state solution, calling such efforts a “deadly poison” for regional stability. “The Zionist lobby’s grip on the Middle East is growing stronger,” he warned, urging the Islamic world to prioritize collective interests over sectarian or geopolitical divisions.

Turning to Pakistan’s domestic politics, the Jamaat-e-Islami leader criticized the current hybrid political system, saying it has failed to deliver and continues to deceive the public. “Governance by force and manipulation is not sustainable. The only viable path forward is constructive political dialogue and reconciliation,” he concluded.
