“We feel honored and dignified when we say we belong to the revolution of Imam Hussein (PBUH),” Sheikh Al-Qattan declared. “This connection gives us pride, as we stand among the few confronting global oppressors seeking to destroy humanity.”
Emphasizing unity and resistance, Sheikh Al-Qattan voiced confidence in Lebanon’s resilience, stating, “We are not afraid, as long as steadfast leaders like Sheikh Naim Qassem [Hezbollah’s Secretary General] and Speaker Nabih Berri, along with other patriotic leaders, continue to protect Lebanon’s strength, honor, and sovereignty.”
He reaffirmed the right to armed resistance, stating: “No one can take our weapons, because they are only directed at the Israeli enemy. Whoever wants to disarm us must first force the enemy to fully withdraw from all Lebanese territory.”
Addressing regional threats, Sheikh Al-Qattan warned of the Zionist regime’s broader ambitions: “The monster in occupied Palestine dreams of domination from the Euphrates to the Nile. Only our faith, our love for Lebanon, and our resistance can stop it.”
He underscored the deep connection between Lebanon and Palestine, describing Israel’s actions in Gaza as a genocide. “What our people in Gaza are enduring is nothing short of mass murder, brutality, and genocide. No sane person can deny this.”
Highlighting Lebanon’s sacrifices, he said, “We too have offered our best men. Their martyrdom has only strengthened our resolve. We have not lost religious leaders—we have gained their legacy and determination.”
Concluding his speech, Sheikh Al-Qattan said: “We will stand firm—until victory or martyrdom. With the faith of Hussein, we continue on the path of truth, and by God’s will, we shall prevail.”
