The Lebanese Muslim Scholars’ Assembly called on Arab and Islamic countries to take immediate action to provide relief to Palestinian Muslims, especially in Gaza, in a statement issued after its monthly meeting.
Stating that the people of Palestine and Gaza are facing a war of annihilation, not persecution, the Assembly called for an end to statements of condemnation.
The Assembly clarified that normalizing ties with the Israeli enemy is not in our religious nature, and the solution is for the usurper to leave all Palestinian lands, since Palestine is a land for us where we hold the flag of the Imamate of two mosques, sovereignty over two qiblas, and the guardianship of the two holy shrines: the Grand Mosque and the Al-Aqsa Mosque of the Messenger of God (PBUH).
The assembly stated that today, the Levant needs weapons, money, food, and a position that will please God and His Messenger, and pointed out: For more than eighty years, asking international institutions, especially the world community, has been a waste of time and money.
