The 16th International Conference on Russia and the Islamic World will be held in Russia, with the participation of Hujjat al-Islam Hamid Shahriari and political, economic, religious and cultural officials and figures, with the aim of “Experience of Russia and the countries of the Islamic world in the field of youth policy: common challenges and joint actions”.
Further expansion of mutual understanding and exchange of experience between youth organizations of Russia and the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in the field of youth policy, as well as strengthening and developing joint youth programs and initiatives aimed at the participation of popular and voluntary movements in public life, instilling respect for national, historical, cultural, spiritual and moral values, are among the themes of this conference.
The event will focus on implementing educational programs, research projects, holding conferences, and various international public awareness events, expanding cooperation between Russian and foreign partner universities, and discussing proposals for joint action against the radicalization of youth and measures to prevent extremism.
