The event, organized by the International Mission Department, was held under the supervision of Hojjatoleslam Mousavizadeh, Director of the department, along with the participation of a delegation of Iraqi officials and scholars.
Launched at the beginning of the Islamic month of Safar, the missionary meeting brought together 60 distinguished religious missionaries from Iran and Iraq. The initiative aimed to provide cultural and religious services to Arbaeen pilgrims and to reinforce the spiritual and educational dimensions of the pilgrimage.
Throughout its duration, the meeting served as a platform for collaboration between Iranian and Iraqi missionaries, focusing on the transmission of spiritual values and the promotion of Islamic teachings among the millions of pilgrims attending the Arbaeen procession.
The closing ceremony featured deliberative sessions and reflections on the outcomes of the mission. Participants were honored for their efforts, and the contributions of both Iranian and Iraqi missionaries in the fields of cultural outreach and religious guidance were formally recognized.
This initiative was widely hailed as a constructive step in strengthening ties between the two nations and enhancing the dissemination of religious knowledge across borders.
