Lucknow, India, Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Kalb Jawad Naqvi, prominent Indian scholar and Friday prayer leader of Lucknow, has strongly condemned the recent Zionist regime’s attack on the Islamic Republic of Iran, calling it a dangerous escalation akin to the outbreak of a regional World War III. He emphasized that Iran remains the only Islamic country bravely standing against American and Israeli oppression.
In a statement issued in response to the attack, Hujjat al-Islam Naqvi, who also serves as the Secretary General of the Indian Ulema Council, honored the martyrs of the aggression and extended heartfelt condolences to the Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and the Iranian nation.
Naqvi declared that while most Islamic countries have remained silent or submissive in the face of Western and Zionist aggression, the Islamic Republic of Iran has consistently resisted, standing as a thorn in the side of global arrogance. “No other Muslim country dares to speak a word against the U.S. or Israel,” he said. “Only Iran continues to uphold its dignity and confront their hegemony.”
Describing the United States and Israel as “clear enemies of humanity,” he urged Muslims and the global community to recognize this truth. He noted that while Muslims may forget historical battles like Khaybar, the Zionists have not, and continue to bear hostility toward Islam’s sacred figures—particularly the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and Imam Ali (PBUH).
Hujjat al-Islam Naqvi also criticized the complicity and silence of certain Arab states, naming Egypt and Jordan for their open alignment with the Zionist regime. He accused some regimes of being so consumed by worldly pleasures that “if necessary, they would even sell Mecca and Medina.”
He condemned the continued killing of innocent Palestinians in Gaza and decried the inaction of the broader Islamic world. “Who will stop the so-called Greater Israel project?” he asked. “Certainly not those who have traded their honor for the approval of American presidents.”
In closing, the Indian scholar expressed confidence in Iran’s eventual and forceful response, stating: “The destruction of Israel is close. The oppressors will be defeated, and God willing, Ayatollah Khamenei will deliver another historic blow to the Zionist regime. This is a certainty for all free people of the world.”
