the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (PBUH) held a ceremony to honor the scientific and spiritual services of Allama Mulla Abdullah Behabadi Yazdi. The ceremony was held at the University of Kufa and attended by representatives from Qom Seminary and universities in Iran and Iraq; It was dedicated to examining and introducing the works of this prominent scholar.
Celebrating a lifetime of service to science and religion
Sayyid Naba Al-Hamami, the head of the Alavi Assembly for Islamic Research and Studies, delivered the keynote speech at the ceremony,” This ceremony was held in honor of the scientific efforts of Allama Mulla Abdullah Behabadi Yazdi; a scholar who dedicated part of his life to serving the Commander of the Faithful.”
Hamami also referred to the participation of prominent language scholars and researchers from the University of Kufa, Qom Seminary, and other Iraqi universities in examining and discussing the views of Allama Mulla Abdullah Behabadi Yazdi in his margin on Tahdhib al-Mantiq, adding, “This event demonstrates the commitment of the Alavi Shrine to preserving the efforts of scholars who played a pivotal role in establishing and strengthening Najaf Seminary.”
