Ghana marks birth anniversary of Imam Mahdi

Muslims in Ghana, both Shia and Sunni, celebrated the blessed occasion of Mid-Sha'ban, marking the auspicious birth anniversary of Imam Mahdi (a.t.f.s).

a large number of Ghanaian Muslims, both Shia and Sunni, gathered in Accra, the country’s capital, on Saturday evening to commemorate the birth anniversary of Imam Mahdi (a.j.t.s).

FIt Lt Moucharoudine Siddique Maiga – Imam of Ghana Air Force delivered a speech on the divine promise of the inevitable reappearance of Imam Mahdi (a.t.f.s).

The celebration also featured Quran recitation, singing eulogies, and the distribution of sweets and gifts.

It is to be noted Mid-Sha’ban is celebrated around the world annually as one of most important holidays of Shia Muslims.
