Multan – June 14, In a powerful Friday sermon delivered in Multan, Pakistan, Hujjat al-Islam Maqsood Ali Domaki, a prominent religious leader and Secretary General of the Pakistan Muslim Unity Council’s Publication and Information Affairs, strongly condemned the Zionist regime’s aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran. He declared that the attack was not just on Iran, but on the entire Islamic world.
“Attacking the Islamic Republic of Iran is not merely an attack on a nation’s soil—it is an assault on the sacred dignity of the Islamic world,” he stated. “From Palestine to Gaza, and now Iran, the Zionist regime seeks to tarnish the pride and unity of the Muslim Ummah.”
He emphasized the unwavering resolve of the Muslim community in the face of such aggression, declaring:
“The devoted people of the Islamic world stand united and determined. We will avenge the pure blood of the martyrs of Palestine and Iran, drop by drop, from this usurper regime. The time of Israel’s destruction is near, and God willing, we will soon offer the Unity Prayer in Holy Quds and the Al-Aqsa Mosque and celebrate the liberation of Palestine.”
Domaki also addressed domestic concerns, harshly criticizing the ongoing restrictions on Muharram mourning ceremonies in Pakistan’s Punjab province. He condemned the registration of legal cases against mourners of Imam Hussein (PBUH), calling such actions unjust, discriminatory, and an affront to religious freedom.
“These fabricated cases are an insult to sacred rituals and have no legitimacy or value. Mourning Imam Hussein is a noble act of worship, and criminalizing it is both religiously and morally indefensible,” he said. “This oppressive approach, which is absent in other provinces like Sindh, Baluchistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir, must be rejected outright.”
The senior cleric concluded by calling for unity among Muslims and resistance against both foreign aggression and internal injustice, stressing that faith and solidarity will ultimately prevail.
