He added that the impact of the late Imam Khomeini’s thoughts and the wave of the Islamic Revolution in Iran is such that the contemporary era can be divided into two stages: before and after Imam Khomeini (RA).
In another part of this meeting, Dr. Nasser al-Din Heydari, the Iranian Ambassador to Thailand, presented his article titled Imam Khomeini’s (RA) political thought and its impact on the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and pointed out the principles of independence, the negation of domination, and support for the oppressed, liberation movements, the proximity of Islamic religions, and unity among Muslims.

He concluded by saying that the Imam’s thought is a living and dynamic capital that is not specific to a particular decade nor generation and has always inspired freedom-seeking and independence-seeking movements in the Islamic world and beyond.”
