Qom, Iran – Ayatollah Alireza Arafi, Director of Iran’s seminaries, issued a powerful statement condemning recent actions and rhetoric by the “leaders of global arrogance” and the “Hitlerite Zionists,” warning that any assault on the sanctity and authority of the Supreme Leader and the Shiite religious establishment will provoke the eruptive anger of the Islamic Ummah.
Calling the attack on the Supreme Leader’s position an unprecedented and shameful act, Ayatollah Arafi described it as a direct assault on the sanctity of Islamic scholarship and leadership. He emphasized that such acts defy international norms and risk sparking irreversible consequences across the Muslim world.
Declaring unwavering support for the Supreme Leader and Iran’s armed forces, he called for national and Islamic solidarity, urged international institutions to take a firm stance, and warned that continued provocations could lead to “unimaginable outcomes.”
“The defense of the territory of Shiite religious authority,” he declared, “is an inalienable religious duty for Iran, the Islamic Ummah, and all resistance movements.”
