the text of the message of Ayatollah Alireza Arafi, the Head of Iran’s Seminaries, to the gathering of the missionaries of Guilan Province is as follows:
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I offer my utmost respect and gratitude to each of my dear friends and missionaries, esteemed deputies, and participants in that gathering, and I sincerely appreciate the respected deputy for preaching and staff of the management center of the Seminary in the province of Guilan.
The important statements of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution regarding the propaganda and the charter of the “progressive and leading” seminary show a new horizon for the seminaries especially in terms of explaining, propagating and promoting Islamic teachings and the Islamic Revolution, it opens new horizons for the seminary and the clergy. This message, as well as the recommendations of the great authorities, shows the path ahead.
Although the system of transformational plans for the seminary has highlighted the approach to propaganda and great strides have been made, the greatness of the mission, the clear and lofty rhetoric of the destination, doubles our duty and all the recipients of the message. It is important that the approach of propaganda become the source of all systems, programs and actions of the seminary and the institution of the clergy, and that we break the ceiling of innovation and creativity in order to launch a new plan.
Although there are dark clouds and dusty atmosphere alongside the bright horizons, there is no doubt that with pure thoughts and firm determination, all obstacles can be overcome and paths can be opened to serve the noble people and dear youth to advance divine ideals.
We must, with the grace of God, continue to broaden the important plans of promoting and to realize the principles of the charter of “Progressive and Leading Seminary” and the recommendations of the scholars. With the help of God, all of this has begun and is being planned and followed up. Of course, we need the cooperation and synergy of you, all seminarians and cultural activists in this regard.
