Hojatoleslam Hakimollahi toured various departments of the Hawzah News Agency and was briefed on its major programs and activities, particularly in the international section.
While appreciating the efforts of the agency’s staff, he described information dissemination as a “divine covenant” and stressed: “Breaking the enemy’s media monopoly and moving toward Hawzah News Agency’s authority in the media sphere is an objective obligation.”
Pointing to the ongoing soft war, the Iranian Supreme Leader’s representative said: “The battlefield has shifted to the arena of thoughts and minds. The confrontation between truth and falsehood continues every day, and it is the media that can shape human thought by establishing a discourse based on honesty and reality.”
Hojatoleslam Hakimollahi further emphasized the importance of addressing the concerns of today’s youth in media work. He noted that the younger generation is largely unaware of the rich heritage of the seminaries, and therefore media content must respond to contemporary needs while also introducing the services and role of seminaries and clergy to society.
