Call for Papers for 8th International Conference on Computer Games

The 8th International Conference on “Computer Games; Opportunities and Challenges” will be hosted by the University of Isfahan on February 17–18, 2026, with the support of the National Foundation for Computer Games and a number of scientific institutions. This year’s special focus will be on rethinking the role of artificial intelligence in computer games.

According to the organizers, the conference will address a wide range of themes, including:

  • Human and cultural dimensions: psychology, sociology, media literacy, identity, culture, family and education, and children’s rights.
  • Management and economics: game projects and businesses, marketing, entrepreneurship, copyright, and in-game economies.
  • Technology and design: artificial intelligence, data mining, augmented reality, UI/UX, and procedural content production.
  • Art and narrative: visual design, character development, interactive storytelling, and emotional experiences.
  • Serious games: applications in education, therapy, advertising, and cultural development.
