The Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Pakistan organized the prestigious seminar to commemorate the memory of the martyred Supreme Leader Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, the martyrs of the path of leadership, and the martyrs of the resistance front in Skardu, Baltistan.
Defending Those Who Stand Against Oppression Is a Religious, Moral, and Human Duty
Addressing the seminar, Hassan Hasrat, a prominent Balti researcher, stressed that supporting those who stand up against tyranny is a religious, moral, and human obligation.
He went on to state that if a person lacks the ability to directly confront the oppressor, they must, at the very least, stand alongside and support the warriors and fighters who have risen against injustice.
Our Path Leads to Karbala, Not the Corridors of Tyrants
Mohammad Kazim Meesam, a Baltistani politician, declared in his remarks: “The trajectory of our movement will never lead to the contaminations of power or the doorsteps of oppressors, including the tyrannical policies of Trump. The wellspring of this movement is the school of Karbala, where timeless lessons of truth-seeking, dignity, freedom, and championing the oppressed were taught to humanity.”
Speaking Truth to Tyrants Elevates One Before God
Hermeet Singh, a prominent Pakistani journalist, stated during his speech: “Those who think freely and courageously call a tyrant a tyrant—though their path is arduous—this very path makes them honorable before their own conscience and in the presence of God.”
He further added that the Islamic Republic of Iran, relying on resistance and steadfastness, has managed to shatter the arrogance of global powers, presenting a model of perseverance for freedom-loving nations worldwide.
Defense of the Oppressed Will Continue with Full Force
The scholars underscored that certain factions have attempted to align themselves against the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Axis of Resistance but have met with failure along this path. They affirmed that the Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Pakistan has always been active in defending the oppressed and upholding the banner of truth, and will continue on this path with unwavering resolve.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, participants offered prayers for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks, the security and stability of the region, the unity of the Islamic Ummah, and the victory of the Resistance Front and the oppressed of the world—particularly the brave and dignified people of Islamic Iran and Palestine.
The scholars and attendees once again renewed their covenant with the ideals of the martyrs, stressing that the sacrifices and blood of the martyrs will never be in vain, and that the struggle for truth, justice, freedom, and the defense of the oppressed will continue under all circumstances.
