A senior Pakistani cleric has hailed the martyrdom of Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, the late Leader of the Islamic Revolution, as the beginning of an “inspiring new phase” in the collective movement of the Muslim Ummah.
Speaking at a solemn yet defiant ceremony held at the Jamia Al-Kauthar Islamic seminary in Pakistan’s capital, top religious figures and students gathered to honor the legacy of the fallen revolutionary leader. The event drew a wide cross-section of society, including scholars, seminary students, and devoted masses, reflecting the deep reverence for the late architect of the Resistance Front.
Hojatoleslam Sheikh Muhammad Shifa Najafi, a distinguished Pakistani cleric, emphasized that Imam Khamenei (may his soul rest in peace) had consistently modeled his life and leadership on the path of the late founder of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini (RA). He noted that this sincere and unwavering adherence to Imam Khomeini’s doctrine is precisely what has elevated the Leader’s martyrdom beyond tragedy—transforming it into what he described as “the birth of a fresh movement” for justice and resistance.
“The martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution is not a void—it is a radiant beacon,” said Najafi. “It has infused the spirit of the Ummah with a new resolve, making the voice of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) resonate louder than ever across the globe.”
Earlier in the ceremony, Hojatoleslam Anwar Ali Najafi, director of the Jamia Al-Kauthar seminary, underscored that the martyrdom of Ayatollah Khamenei has paradoxically become a source of unity not only for the people of Iran but for all freedom-seeking nations. He asserted that the late Leader’s sacrifice has amplified the moral and political message of the school of the Ahl al-Bayt, shattering the conspiracies of global arrogance.
The gathering in Islamabad was part of a series of worldwide commemorations where resistance leaders and scholars have vowed to remain faithful to the path of Imam Khamenei—a path defined by anti-oppression, Islamic solidarity, and unwavering support for the Palestinian cause. Speakers at the event reiterated that the Resistance movement, far from being weakened, is now poised to enter a more determined and expansive phase under the guidance of the Leader’s enduring legacy.
In their concluding remarks, the clerics called upon the Muslim Ummah to turn the martyrdom of Ayatollah Khamenei into a catalyst for unity, vigilance, and a renewed commitment to the ideals of the Islamic Revolution.
