Pakistani Scholars Say: “Martyr Leader’s Thoughts Have United Pakistani Hearts with the Center of the Islamic World”

Grand Arbaeen gathering in Islamabad draws thousands as Pakistan's Ulema declare: Imam Khamenei made the Muslim Ummah feel one heartbeat again.

Coinciding with the Arbaeen (40th day) of the red ascent of the Leader of the Islamic Ummah, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei, a magnificent and massive gathering of lovers of the Islamic Revolution was held in the Pakistani capital, Islamabad—proving once again that the pulse of the Muslim world beats from Qom and Tehran to Karachi, Lahore, and beyond.

The ceremony, which also commemorated the martyrs of the Ramadan Imposed War (the Sacred Defense), served as a powerful testament to the deep spiritual and intellectual bond between the people of Pakistan and the Islamic Revolution of Iran.

Hearts Wired to the Center of the Islamic World

Pakistani scholars attending the event declared that the late Leader’s revolutionary thought, his unwavering stance on Palestine, his defense of the oppressed, and his revival of Islamic unity had effectively wired the hearts of Pakistanis directly to the center of the Islamic world—the supreme leadership of the Islamic Revolution.

“Imam Khamenei did not belong to Iran alone. He belonged to every Muslim who yearns for dignity, justice, and resistance,” said a senior Pakistani cleric addressing the crowd. “His thoughts penetrated our universities, our seminaries, our streets, and our homes. He made us feel that the Muslim Ummah is one body, and that Palestine is our first issue.”

High-Level Attendance

The Islamabad Arbaeen gathering was graced by the presence of:

  • Reza Amiri Moghaddam — Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Pakistan
  • Hojatoleslam Sajid Ali Naqvi — Head of the Shia Ulema Council of Pakistan
  • Majid Meshki — Cultural Attaché of the Iranian Embassy
  • Several other Iranian diplomats
  • Prominent Shia and Sunni scholars
  • Intellectuals, youth leaders, and heads of various religious groups

The gathering was a rare and beautiful display of inter-sectarian unity—a core legacy of Imam Khamenei’s lifelong struggle against the divisive plots of the enemies of Islam, particularly the US and the Zionist entity.

Remembering the Ramadan War Martyrs

Alongside mourning the martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Ummah, participants honored the memory of the martyrs of the Ramadan Imposed War (the Sacred Defense). Speakers reminded the audience that the same spirit of resistance that defeated Saddam’s Ba’athist regime—backed by the West and the Persian Gulf dictatorships—now continues under the banner of the Axis of Resistance from Tehran to Gaza, from Beirut to Sana’a.

Pakistan’s Unique Place in the Resistance Constellation

Speakers emphasized that Pakistan, as a nuclear-armed Muslim nation with a population of over 240 million, holds a special and strategic position in the global resistance movement. The scholars called upon the Pakistani government and people to:

  • Remain steadfast in their love for the Ahlulbayt (PBUT)
  • Protect the legacy of Imam Khamenei from distortion by enemy propaganda
  • Strengthen ties with the Islamic Republic of Iran as a strategic and spiritual ally
  • Never normalize relations with the Zionist entity
  • Continue supporting the Palestinian cause as the central issue of the Islamic world

A Pledge Renewed

At the conclusion of the ceremony, participants raised their hands in prayer, renewing their allegiance to the path of Imam Khamenei, Imam Khomeini, and the martyrs of the Islamic Revolution. They chanted:

“O Leader of the Ummah, your path is our path. Your cause is our cause. And we will not rest until the cry of ‘Death to America’ echoes from every minaret of the Muslim world.”

A Lasting Bridge

The scholars of Pakistan affirmed that Imam Khamenei’s intellectual and spiritual legacy has become a permanent bridge connecting the people of Pakistan to the center of the Islamic world—the sacred soil of Iran and the guardianship of the righteous and just leadership (Velayat-e Faqih).

As one participant said:

“Before Imam Khamenei, we felt scattered. Now we know who our leader is. Now we know where the center of our world lies. He is gone from our sight, but he has left us a map. And we will follow it.”
