Dr. Yahya Ghaddar, Secretary-General of the Global Assembly for Support of Resistance, addressed a specialized panel titled “The Future of the Battle” – organized by the Qademoun International Foundation and broadcast on Al-Kawthar TV – examining the role of the Islamic Ummah in breaking American hegemony.
Dr. Ghaddar opened by commending the event’s organizers, noting that the discussion centered on “Iran and the Axis of Resistance in the regional and international conflict equation.”
Iran’s historic and strategic role
The Secretary-General highlighted the Islamic Republic’s central position within the Resistance Axis, stating that Iran’s role, achievements, and military and leadership structure are both historic and strategic – operating within a global assembly for the Resistance option now present in 86 countries.
Dr. Ghaddar emphasized that since the victory of the Islamic Revolution under Imam Khomeini (RA), and its continuation under the guidance of Imam Khamenei, Iran has presented a model of commitment to Quranic teachings and Islamic values – introducing this path as the manifestation of the Islamic Ummah’s faith against the global system of domination.
Strategic surprise for the enemy
Pointing to Iran’s role in regional and international developments, Dr. Ghaddar said the resistance of the Iranian nation and the broader Axis in the face of intense pressure and extensive wars – particularly on regional and global scales – has successfully influenced power equations and created strategic surprise for the enemy.
He described this trajectory as a reflection of pure Muhammadan Islam and defense of the world’s oppressed – an Islam that stands against the system of domination and arrogant powers, defending the right to life and human dignity.
A war of concepts and narratives
Dr. Ghaddar stressed that what is unfolding today is not merely a military war, but a battle at the level of concepts and narratives – a war between two fronts: one formed around resistance and defense of nations, and the other based on domination and violence.
The Secretary-General further stated that recent developments have led to a shift in global balances, asserting: “The Axis of Resistance, with Iran’s role-playing, is shaping a new order in the world – an order that can be based on justice, human dignity, and the rejection of domination.”
The path ahead
In conclusion, Dr. Ghaddar affirmed that despite all pressures and challenges, the path of resistance will continue, and the future of the world is moving toward a transformation in the structure of power and the formation of a more just global order.
