‘Pure blood of martyred Leader waters sapling of Resistance’: Iran’s cultural attaché in Dhaka

In a powerful address at a revered Sufi shrine in Bangladesh's capital, Iran's cultural attaché has declared that the martyrdom of Ayatollah Khamenei has only strengthened the Resistance Front—framing the ongoing US-Zionist war against Iran as a cosmic struggle between truth and falsehood, Islam and infidelity.

DHAKA, Bangladesh – The holy sanctuary of Mohammadia Lalkuti in Dhaka, a revered site for followers of the Chishtiya Sufi order, hosted a solemn memorial ceremony for the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution—transforming a spiritual gathering into a platform for resistance solidarity.

The event, held as a scholarly session titled “The Attack on Iran, the Martyrdom of the Leader, and the Resistance of Muslims,” drew a significant number of university professors and Sunni scholars affiliated with the Chishtiya Sufi tradition.

‘Islam vs. Infidelity

Seyyed Reza Mir Mohammadi, the cultural attaché of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Bangladesh, delivered a sharp, uncompromising analysis of the current confrontation.

“The war of America and the Zionist regime against Iran must be evaluated within the grand framework of the battle between ‘Truth and Falsehood’ and ‘Islam and Infidelity,'” Mir Mohammadi stated.

He argued that the lines are drawn with absolute clarity. “If we look at the parties in the battlefield—on one side, America, the Zionist regime, and their allies; on the other, Iran alongside the Islamic Resistance Front of West Asia, including Iraq, Lebanon, and Yemen—this overarching definition reveals its true meaning.”

‘The sapling is watered’

The cultural attaché emphasized that the enemy’s strategy of decapitation—targeting the Leader—has backfired catastrophically.

“The pure blood of the martyred Leader has not extinguished the flame of resistance,” he declared. “On the contrary, it has watered the sapling of the Islamic Revolution and the Resistance Front, causing it to grow stronger and more deeply rooted than ever before.”

His remarks drew nods of approval from the Sunni Sufi scholars present—a visual testament to the cross-sectarian appeal of the Resistance Axis in South Asia.

Why Bangladesh matters

The choice of venue was deeply symbolic. The Mohammadia Lalkuti shrine, a respected institution in Dhaka for followers of the Chishtiya Sufi order, represents a strand of Islam that emphasizes spiritual devotion, anti-oppression, and love for the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT).

By hosting a memorial for a Shia Iranian Leader at a Sunni Sufi shrine, the gathering challenged Western and Zionist narratives of inevitable Sunni-Shia discord. It demonstrated that the blood of Ayatollah Khamenei continues to unite the Ummah across sectarian lines.

A warning to the enemy

The session concluded with a collective prayer for the speedy victory of the Resistance Front and a warning to Washington and Tel Aviv.

“The enemy thought that by martyring the Leader, they would paralyze the movement,” one attending scholar told local media. “They were wrong. The movement has no single head. Every Muslim is now a soldier.”
