Chinese Enthusiastically Welcome Memoirs of Iran’s Martyred Leader

The Chinese translation of the book “The Bloody Heart Turned into Ruby” has been met with widespread acclaim on major publishing platforms across China.

citing the Public Relations Department of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, the book was translated by Chi Wen Deng, a professor at Beijing International Studies University, under the cultural attaché of the Islamic Republic of Iran in China. The work was unveiled at the 30th Beijing International Book Fair and subsequently released into the Chinese book market.

In addition to the print edition of the 359-page volume, a digital version has recently been made available on China’s online publishing platforms, drawing an enthusiastic response from readers.

Excerpts from the book—comprising memoirs, personal notes, and an unembellished biography of the late Leader of the Islamic Revolution—have been shared on Chinese social media, further reflecting strong public interest in cyberspace.

“The Bloody Heart Turned into Ruby” contains the memoirs of Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, documenting his imprisonments and exile during the revolutionary struggle against the former Pahlavi regime. The book is a translation of the Persian work “Inna Ma’al Sabr Nasra” (Verily, with Patience Comes Victory), which was previously published in Arabic in Beirut and introduced by Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.

What sets this book apart from similar works is its inclusion of profound wisdom, moral lessons, and admonitions appropriate to each narrative—each capable of serving as a guiding light for readers, especially the youth, to learn about the atrocities of the corrupt Pahlavi regime, the ordeals and hardships of freedom fighters, and in contrast, the steadfastness, resistance, sincerity, and unshakable faith of the revolutionaries. Other sections of the book include an autobiographical account by the revered Leader, relevant photographs, and various indexes.
