Pakistani Cleric: Iran’s Martyred Leader Stood Firmly Against Global Arrogance

A senior Pakistani cleric has stated that the entire life of the martyred leader Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei was spent in the path of Jihad for the sake of God and in struggle against the pharaohs and Yazids of the era.

a commemoration ceremony marking the martyrdom of Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei was held at the Imam Jafar Sadiq Mosque in the Dera Murad Jamali area of Pakistan’s Baluchistan province. The ceremony was attended by scholars, clerics, tribal elders, and various segments of the faithful community, with participants paying tribute to the memory of the martyred leader.

Addressing the gathering, Hojatoleslam Maqsood Ali Domki, a senior member of the Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Pakistan, highlighted the stature and leadership role of the late figure within the Islamic world. “The entire life of the martyred leader Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei was spent in the path of Jihad for the sake of God and in struggle against the pharaohs and Yazids of the era,” he said.

He added that through his intellectual guidance of the Islamic Revolution, coupled with insight and steadfastness, the martyred leader stood firmly against arrogant powers and the enemies of Islam, becoming a source of inspiration for free nations across the globe.

The religious scholar further announced plans for a mass gathering in Pakistan, stating: “On June 13, 2026, following a call by the head of the Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, Senator Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri, and with the support of the country’s scholars and dignitaries, convoys from Sindh, Baluchistan, and other regions of Pakistan will march toward Minar-e-Pakistan in the city of Lahore, enabling the people to express their love and devotion to the martyred leader through a massive turnout.”

Also speaking at the ceremony, Hojatoleslam Suhail Akbar Shirazi, a Pakistani cleric, reflected on the scholarly and revolutionary character of the late leader, stating: “The Supreme Leader was a distinguished jurist, a striving Mujtahid, a religious scholar, and a revolutionary leader who guided the Islamic Ummah with wisdom and prudence along the correct path for many long years.”

Another Pakistani preacher, Hojatoleslam Syed Zafar Abbas Shamsi, addressed the role of religious leadership in guiding society, noting: “The Leader of Muslims, Martyr Seyyed Ali Khamenei, has today become one of the most beloved leaders among the Islamic Ummah.”

He added that Wilayat al-Faqih represents a great divine gift from Almighty God for the guidance of humanity and the preservation of the dignity and independence of the Islamic Ummah.

The ceremony concluded with participants offering prayers and renewing their pledge to the ideals of Islam and resistance, reaffirming their commitment to continuing the path of the martyrs and safeguarding the unity of the Islamic Ummah. The spiritual event served as a manifestation of solidarity, religious devotion, and the sense of responsibility felt by Pakistani Muslims toward developments in the Islamic world.
