31st International Quran Conference held in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

The Al-Mustafa International University branch in Tanzania has hosted the 31st International Quran Conference—a grand and historic event aimed at spreading knowledge, noble morality, and Islamic solidarity through the Holy Quran, described as the guiding light for human life.

the international conference was held on Sunday, May 10, 2026, in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, drawing a large number of believers, scholars, intellectuals, and prominent academic figures from across Tanzania and beyond.

The blessed and magnificent gathering is recognized as one of the key platforms for promoting a correct understanding of Quranic teachings and strengthening unity, compassion, and brotherhood among Muslims. Through the conference, participants were given the opportunity to deepen their learning, share scientific experiences, and witness outstanding talents in Quranic recitation.

Among the distinguished guests who graced the event with their melodious voices and moving recitations were prominent Quran reciters from Tanzania, the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Pakistan.

The conference’s special guest was Sheikh Al-Had Moussa, head of the National Dialogue and Peace Committee (JMT).
