The faithful of this remote mountainous region, drawing inspiration from Islamic teachings and a deep sense of religious kinship, generously contributed their wealth to aid their suffering brothers and sisters in Iran. The act underscores how bonds of faith transcend geographical boundaries and political frontiers.
One Body, One Ummah
The initiative echoes the famous words of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him): “The likeness of the believers in their mutual love, mercy, and compassion is that of a single body; when one limb aches, the rest of the body responds with sleeplessness and fever.”
The Chundah Valley faithful have brought this prophetic tradition to life, demonstrating that the pulse of the Ummah beats in unison from the mountains of Baltistan to the cities of Iran. Their sacrifice and sincerity in alleviating the pain of their fellow Muslims reflect an unbreakable spiritual bond.
Nearly 10 Billion Tomans in Aid Collected
In this praiseworthy endeavor, the residents of Chundah Valley succeeded in collecting approximately 9.732 billion Iranian tomans — a figure that stands as a symbol of love, cohesion, and a profound sense of religious duty toward the wider Islamic community.
The contribution was more than a financial transaction; it was a renewal of allegiance to the culture of sacrifice and loyalty embodied by the school of Karbala. Each coin and banknote carried a message of fidelity to Hussaini ideals — a loving offering presented in devotion to Imam al-Mahdi, the awaited savior (PBUH).
Spirit of Hussain Lives On
With this gesture, the faithful of Chundah Valley proved that the spirit of Imam Hussain (PBUH) remains alive and that the hearts of believers are not confined by borders. Undoubtedly, every contribution can bring a smile to the face of the oppressed and draw prayers of blessing upon the benefactors.
Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq (Peace Be Upon Him) said: “Whoever fulfills a need of his believing brother, Allah shall fulfill one hundred of his needs.”
Support for the Resistance Front Continues
The solidarity of Pakistan’s Baltistan faithful with the Islamic Republic and the broader axis of resistance is not a passing moment but an enduring commitment. In a time when global arrogance and its regional proxies seek to fracture the Ummah and weaken the front of resistance through sanctions, military threats, and media propaganda, such grassroots gestures carry profound meaning.
The people of Chundah Valley have sent a clear message: the Ummah stands united. Their sacrifice is a testament to the fact that in the most trying of circumstances, the Islamic community does not abandon its own. It is an inspiring model of Islamic and human solidarity — one that deserves recognition and emulation across the Muslim world.
