The conference brought together thinkers and scholars from Iran, Lebanon, England, India, Pakistan, the United States, the Philippines, Denmark, Turkey and other countries. Speakers highlighted the enduring message of Arbaeen and the shared responsibility of intellectuals and religious leaders toward the global community.
Addressing the gathering, Hojatoleslam Reza Ramezani emphasized that dignity, justice, and thoughtfulness are the three fundamental pillars of human life. “A person of dignity and justice cannot remain indifferent to the guidance of others or to the religious, spiritual, and social challenges of society. For this reason, divine prophets were the most compassionate and benevolent of human beings,” he said.
A special session of the conference was dedicated to the participation of Indian scholars, representing the country’s academic and religious institutions. Prominent Pakistani scholars also attended, including Senator Raja Nasser Abbas Jafari, Chairman of the Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Pakistan; Hojatoleslam Muhammad Amin Shahidi, Chairman of Ummah Wahid-e-Pakistan; Syed Manazir Naqvi, Secretary General of the Jawad Foundation; and Syed Zaman Jafari from the seminary of Grand Ayatollah Hafiz Bashir Najafi.
The active presence of these figures underscored that Arbaeen has transcended geographical borders, serving as a platform for mutual reflection and cooperation among Islamic scholars. Participants stressed that the message of Ashura and Arbaeen is universal, unifying, and civilization-building, offering guidance for all humanity.
