The statement opens with verses from the Qur’an underscoring divine support for those who aid His cause, setting a spiritual foundation for what the signatories describe as a “historic and instructive victory.” The success, they say, belongs not only to the Iranian nation and its armed forces, but to the broader Islamic Ummah committed to faith, resistance, and justice.
“With praise and gratitude to God, the great and instructive victory of the noble Iranian nation and the warriors of Islam in the recent battle against the usurping Zionist regime has inscribed a golden chapter in the history of resistance and jihad,” the statement reads.
The scholars attribute this outcome to the “faith, sacrifice, courage, and insight” of the Iranian people and the Islamic Resistance Front. They emphasized that this victory signals the moral and spiritual superiority of the resistance movement over the material powers of global hegemony.
A central theme of the statement is the pivotal role of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Grand Ayatollah Imam Sayyid Ali Khamenei. His “strategic wisdom, Quranic leadership, and unwavering resistance against sedition and deception,” the statement says, were instrumental in guiding the Islamic world through turbulent times.
“Recent events underscore the central role of His Eminence in shaping the emerging world order and guiding the Islamic civilization toward its destined excellence,” the statement asserts.
The statement also offers gratitude to a wide array of contributors—from Iran’s Armed Forces, the IRGC, Basij, and government officials to media professionals, healthcare workers, and volunteers. It honors the memory of martyrs and acknowledges the sacrifices of their families, praising their patience and steadfastness.
Importantly, the seminary leadership stressed that the victory is not the conclusion but a turning point:
“This triumph is not the end of the road but the beginning of greater victories—leading, God willing, to the complete liberation of al-Quds, the elimination of the occupying Zionist regime, and the defeat of criminal America.”
In anticipation of the holy month of Muharram, the statement urges clerics, religious orators, and cultural activists to channel the revolutionary spirit of Ashura to further inspire public awareness and commitment to Islamic resistance.
“Religious gatherings must serve as platforms to highlight the current superiority of Islamic civilization over the declining Western model and to expose the Zionist regime,” the clerics urged.
Concluding with prayers for the reappearance of Imam Mahdi (aj), the scholars reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to the path of resistance and their aspiration for the eventual liberation of al-Quds.
“We remain committed to standing alongside the mujahideen until the total eradication of the cancerous Zionist entity,” the statement concluded.
