Ayatollah Alireza Arafi, Head of the Iran’s seminaries, has expressed deep appreciation for the steadfastness and unity demonstrated by the Iranian nation in defending the Islamic Revolution and their homeland. In a recent interview with the Hawzah News Agency, he described the current days as exceptionally sensitive and pivotal in the glorious history of the Islamic Revolution.
Paying tribute to the martyrs and honoring the memory of the “Imam of the Martyrs,” Ayatollah Arafi extended his gratitude to the armed forces and all institutions involved in safeguarding the nation against persistent adversaries. He emphasized the remarkable role of the Iranian people, especially the youth and courageous men and women whose unwavering presence has created a powerful movement of resistance.
Celebrating National Unity
“The continuous and determined presence of our great nation across Iran, united with vigilance and courage, is a source of pride not only for Iran but for Islam and the entire Islamic Ummah,” he stated. “We owe gratitude to every man and woman, every brave young person, and all defenders of the homeland.”
Honoring the Defenders of the Homeland and Revolution
On behalf of the seminaries and affiliated institutions, Ayatollah Arafi extended heartfelt thanks to the defenders of the Islamic homeland and Revolution. This includes the armed forces involved in missile launches, the Basij, police, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the army, and all security and intelligence agencies. He noted that the Iranian nation itself has been the “standard-bearer” of this historic and honorable movement.
Renewal of Allegiance to the Supreme Leader
He further reaffirmed the seminaries’ unwavering loyalty to the Supreme Leader, praising his wise, decisive, and present leadership. “We express our highest respect and renew our allegiance to His Eminence,” Ayatollah Arafi declared.
Acknowledging the Role of Senior Religious Authorities
Finally, Ayatollah Arafi acknowledged the important support and guidance offered by senior Marjas in Najaf and Qom, whose statements and leadership have positively influenced the current situation. He also thanked prominent scholars, professors, seminarians, and academics for their solidarity and contribution.
