Qom – In a message issued following the martyrdom of Major General Ali Shadmani, senior Shia cleric Ayatollah Hossein Nouri Hamedani praised the steadfastness of the Iranian people and emphasized that the collective presence at the martyrs’ funerals sends a strong message to global arrogant powers.
A Tribute to a Mujahid General
“During these days of mourning for the martyrs of Karbala, we also grieve the martyrdom of the sincere and devoted commander, Major General Ali Shadmani,” Ayatollah Nouri Hamedani stated. “I offer my congratulations and condolences to the people of Iran, particularly the residents of the faithful city of Hamedan.”
He described the martyr as a sincere mujahid who sacrificed his life for the path of truth, adding, “Undoubtedly, the pure blood of this martyr and others like him will contribute to the downfall of the illegitimate Zionist regime.”
Unity in the Face of Arrogance
Ayatollah Nouri Hamedani underscored the importance of national unity, calling on the people to continue their unwavering support for the Islamic Republic. “The revolutionary and patient people of Iran have demonstrated unity and solidarity, and with the blessings of God Almighty, the support of the Imam al-Mahdi (PBUH), and the guidance of the Supreme Leader, final victory is assured.”

Concluding his message, he emphasized the symbolic power of public mourning and collective presence. “The massive participation of the people in the funerals of our martyrs is a firm and dignified response to the senseless mockery of arrogant global leaders.”
