Carrying Palestinian flags, Hezbollah emblems, and images of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, participants transformed the traditional mourning ceremony into a global message of resistance, underscoring Kashmir’s unwavering support for the Axis of Resistance and the cause of the oppressed.
The mourners raised powerful slogans such as:
- “Labbaik Ya Khamenei!”
- “Death to Israel!”
- “Death to America!”
- “O Oppressed People of Gaza, We Are with You!”
These chants echoed through the streets, filling the atmosphere with a revolutionary spirit and anti-arrogance fervor, turning the march into both a religious observance and a political statement.
In some locations, security forces attempted to remove resistance flags, prompting immediate and peaceful protests by mourners. The participants firmly asserted that these flags represent their faith, dignity, and resistance, refusing to allow their sacred symbols to be disrespected.
The procession also featured spiritual programs and prayers for the well-being of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Grand Ayatollah Khamenei, Grand Ayatollah Sistani, and other prominent Shia scholars. The crowd also paid tribute to the martyrs of the Islamic Resistance from Palestine, Lebanon, Iraq, and Iran.
Marked by discipline, serenity, and strong political awareness, this year’s Ashura procession stood out as a magnificent manifestation of Hussaini love and a clear declaration of allegiance to the Hussein of our time. Participants sent a resounding message to the global community:
“The people of Kashmir are with Imam Hussein (AS), with the oppressed, and with the Islamic Resistance Front.”
