Hawzah News Agency– The Islamic Radio and Television Union has issued a condemnation of the recent direct attack by the Zionist regime on the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), calling it an unjustified act of aggression aimed at silencing the voice of the Iranian people and suppressing the truth.
In its official statement, the Union described the attack as a flagrant violation of international laws and United Nations conventions, labeling it part of a broader pattern of war crimes committed by the Zionist regime.
“This deliberate targeting has no justification and reflects the regime’s failure to achieve any military or political gains through its ongoing campaigns in the region,” the statement said. “It is a continuation of the Zionist enemy’s systematic assault on media institutions and journalists, driven by a desperate desire to suppress the voice of truth.”
Reaffirming its unwavering support for IRIB, the Union declared its full solidarity with the broadcaster and pledged to mobilize all its media resources to assist the organization in continuing its mission.
“This heinous act is a direct attack not only on the Iranian media but on global press freedom. It is intended to silence voices that resist occupation and expose the atrocities committed by the Zionist regime,” the Union stated.
The Union urged all international media institutions and freedom-loving journalists to unite in opposing these acts of aggression, which pose a serious threat to the integrity and independence of global media.
“Such violations will not succeed in silencing the voice of truth. The image will continue to be revealed, and the mission of free media will press forward with even greater determination,” the statement asserted.
