Islamabad Hosts Grand “Wilayat” Conference: Scholars Unite in Defense of Resistance and Islamic Unity

Organized by the Ahlul Bayt School of Scholars (PBUT) and the Pakistan Muslim Unity Council, the event highlighted the role of the principle of Wilayat (divine guardianship) as a unifying force among Muslims and a cornerstone in confronting oppression and tyranny.

Islamabad, Pakistan – A major conference titled “Wilayat” was held in Islamabad, bringing together leading scholars, thinkers, and supporters of the resistance axis to emphasize unity in the Islamic world and collective opposition to the Zionist regime.

In his keynote address, Senator Raja Nasser Abbas Jafari, Chairman of the Pakistan Muslim Unity Council, declared:

“What we witness today is not merely a geopolitical conflict—it is a historic confrontation between two ideologies: the school of truth and resistance versus the school of falsehood and oppression.”

He praised the Iranian nation’s resilience under the leadership of the Supreme Leader, citing the Islamic Revolution’s ability to withstand decades of threats, wars, and sanctions due to its spiritual strength and people-based military.

“The West’s fundamental issue is not with politics—it is with a divine, independent military structure rooted in moral values that cannot be broken.”

Calling on Muslims worldwide, he added:

“This is the time of decision. We either align with the oppressors or stand firm with the oppressed. In our tradition, martyrdom is the peak of honor, and despair has no place in our faith.”

The conference concluded with a reaffirmation of solidarity with the resistance front and a collective pledge to defend Islamic values, Wilayat, and the oppressed nations, particularly in Palestine.
